About East Orlando Counseling
Julia Esther Suereth, MA, IMHC

Julia began her career in finance and management in New York City after graduating from the Stern School of Business at New York University. After ten years she turned her focus to full-time youth ministry which afforded her the opportunity to work with the urban community. She applied her business expertise in mentoring and building community while working with at-risk youth and families. She conducted many leadership workshops and taught classes. During this time she also served as Middle & High School Director for a Christian school.

Julia moved to Florida to attend Asbury Theological Seminary where she received her Masters in Counseling. She has been counseling since 2009. Her specialties include marriage and couples counseling, parenting issues, personality disorders, depression, anxiety, and sexual abuse. She views counseling as an integral component of healing, where those experiencing hurt and crisis can be brought to a place where they are able to love themselves and others. Julia is fluent in Spanish and also holds a special interest in counseling children and adolescents.
